Mom is in a safe place

My sister and I have been talking about getting our mother into assisted living for years and it has finally happened. My sister Denise, God Bless her, kept talking to mom about it while mom has been in and out of hospitals & rehab facilities. I was super impressed mom went willingly and without us dragging her there.

My sister was also able to get guardianship so she can make all health related & financial decisions for our mom.

Mom was moved into Dayton Place which is where my dad's parents lived the last year of their lives. It is nice she is there as we know the staff and trust the people running the home.

I have gone to visit mom a couple times and she seems happy. She likes the people but does not like the attendants who encourage her to go to bed early. She gets along well with a few of them so far so good.
