Watching the playoffs at the Dentist's office

My Dentist retired and I found a new one in lakewood. It was not anyone I was referred to as much as I saw a few mailings they sent and really liked their services. They have an emphasis on comfort and are open until 9 pm most nights so I do not have to take time off work to go in for a check up.

This office has state of the art tools. There is a flat screen facing & above every patient chair. So the Dentist can put a camera in my mouth and show me photos or video of my teeth while he works. Tonight I am in to get a crown and they will fit me with a temporary crown for a few weeks while my crown is being made. When I sat down in the chair they gave the remote to the TV and told me to pick out something to watch.

I have always told myself I would never be the type of guy who is obsessed about sports or watching them. I do like to watch the NBA playoffs and tonight is game four between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat. It is potentially a huge game as Miami was leading by three games and if Boston losses they are out of the series.

So I watched game four between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat while the Dentist worked on my teeth. The attendant with me started talking about basketball & sports and then the Dentist started joking they would have to stop working while the game was playing. Growing up I went to a Dentist whose idea of cutting edge media were Better Home and Garden Magazines on the coffee table. I pay a bit more for this Dentist but it is worth it! A Dentist office where I can fun while getting a crown! I love their practice!!
