Exploring in Lakewood: Addenbrooke Park

I have gotten out of my habit of exploring Lakewood so tonight I wanted over to Addendum Park. It is a small Park on Kipling south of Alameda that is tucked away and could missed if one blinks while driving by it. I had gone there earlier this year or late last year to snow shoe through the park after it had snowed as the park has large snow drifts everywhere. I have never been to the park when it was not covered in snow.

I am glad I was able to explore and see the park at night. It is a nice park that can one can walk around for twenty or thirty minutes and still not see all of the park. It is about a third the size of Sloan lake with a much tinier lake, more of a pond, but it is nice to walk around at night. I probably prefer Sloan lake although Addenbrooke Park is a great place to go to if I want to have a twenty or thirty minute walk in a park close to home.
